The latest release of the Augmented Reality platform now supports RealWear’s ultimate device, for the safe and hands-free execution of field activities
SPACE1 Maintenance and SPACE1 Virtual Collaboration customers can now rely on the innovative technology offered by the RealWear HMT-1™ device and perform maintenance activities on field or within production plants completely hands-free, interacting with procedures and remote support through voice control, only.
RealWear’s HMT-1 is designed for those technicians, engineers and field operators in charge of equipment inspection and maintenance activities, as well as complex manufacturing assembly ones. This Android based “industrial wearable” rugged device, is compatible with the PPE, such as hard hats and safety goggles, required in most construction and industrial environments.
Instead of using a traditional touch screen, HTM-1 provides an articulate micro-display, which displays a virtual7-inch tablet screen. Moreover, its unique noise cancellation technology permits accurate hands-free voice driven use, even in noisy industrial environments.
Field operators shall now rely on a complete solution which allows them to work hands-free, thus avoiding other devices not suitable for their work environments.
