Founded around the end of the ‘90s as a spin-off of the IT department of a multinational company leader in food distribution, OverIT has now 320 professionals, it operates worldwide and works together with important organizations to help them achieve excellent performance in the optimization of Field processes.
OverIT customers come from several verticals, such as Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, Industry, Services and Transportation: all of them considering the management of field activities as a priority.
The company invests around 10% of its annual revenue in research and development. With its internal laboratory and long-term cooperation with important universities, OverIT constantly tests cutting-edge services and solutions, aiming at maintaining a strong competitive edge on the market.

1991 – Start of our experience with the creation of logistics, distribution and optimization applications
1993 – First Mobile project: attempted sales solution for salesmen of a multinational food distribution company
1997 – First project using GPS localization for optimizing visits to customers
2000 – First release of Geocall as application suite
2004 – OverIT becomes a part of the Engineering Group
2008 – Release of the Geocall GIS Module, with native integration with third-party GIS services (Google Maps, Esri, etc.)
2009 – Implementation of new techniques to optimize field activities, based on operative research algorithms
2013 – First solutions relying on Augmented Reality to support maintenance processes
2015 – First application on Smartwatches
2016 – First release of Geocall WFM for Microsoft HoloLens
